Die Uraufführung der Klavierstücke Leipziger Komponisten, die der Sammelband enthielt, erfolgte im gleichen Jahr. Die Publikation ist seit vielen Jahren vergriffen und in ihrer ursprünglichen Form nicht mehr verlegt. Die dem Band entnommenen "Vier tänzerischen Stücke" von Karl-Heinz Pick, die auch im Gewandhaus zu Leipzig erklangen und durch zahlreiche Konzertaufführungen und Rundfunksendungen mit namhaften Interpreten und jungen Künstlern eine weite Verbreitung erfuhren, werden durch die Neuveröffentlichung im Heinrichshofen's Verlag erneut zugänglich gemacht.
