"Little Stories for Pop-Piano" sind 10 Pop-Songs für Klavier. Jedes Stück hat einen bestimmten Groove und erzählt eine kleine Geschichte. Die Stücke sind so aufgebaut, dass sie für einen relativ unerfahrenen Klavierspieler leicht zu lernen sind. Die Kompositionen sind auch gut für kleinere Bands geeignet. Die Akkordsymbole helfen bei der Harmonie und einer möglichen Bassbegleitung. Ebenfalls können die Kompositionen mit einem zweiten Klavier oder Keyboard begleitet werden. Werner Heider creates a very special sound panorama in his work ‘Meteoros’ for solo piano. Individual points of sound are distributed across the entire piano scale in precise timing, interrupted by eruptive and surprising interjections. Thus, depending on the abilities of the student, an individual playing sequence can be chosen. The musical language is modern, but almost always based on clear melody and harmony.
