Johann Sebastian Bach probably composed the six trio sonatas BWV 525-530 ‘á 2 Claviers e Pedal’ between 1727 and 1729 for his eldest son Wilhelm Friedemann, although individual pieces date back to earlier years (1722-1723). These are undoubtedly organ sonatas, whose three independent voices combine to create an extremely charming musical work of art . The aim of this arrangement of the first trio sonata was to make this beautiful work accessible to recorder players. Lambertus Johannes Drop transposed the trio sonata from its original key of E flat major to F major.

Auf der Grundlage von Hörerfahrung, Improvisation und Stilvariation wird eine praxisbezogene Anleitung gegeben, die zu einem kreativen und eigenständigen Umgang mit verschiedenen Formen von Liedspiel und Liedbegleitung befähigen soll. Das Thema "Improvisieren im Klavierunterricht" ist seit 1983 Gegenstand zahlreicher von Professor Wiedemann abgehaltener Fortbildungskurse für Klavierpädagoginnen und Klavierpädagogen. Die Veranstaltungen werden von der EPTA, vom VdM und VDMK sowie an Hochschulen in Deutschland, Österreich und in der Schweiz durchgeführt.

Mit diesen kleinen Stücken ist es auch dem Anfänger am Klavier möglich, einen wichtigen Begründer der heutigen Klaviermusik näher kennenzulernen. Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach hatte die "46 Anfangsstücke" zu Lebzeiten als "Kurze und Leichte Clavierstücke mit veränderten Reprisen" (Wq 113 und 114) herausgegeben. Um den Einstieg zu erleichtern, folgt unsere Edition der vom Verleger Johann Carl Friedrich Rellstab 1788-1790 unter spielpraktischen Gesichtspunkten eingerichteten dritten Auflage.

Klavierspieler/innen haben in der Regel nur wenig Erfahrungen mit dem Ensemblespiel. Um die Freude am gemeinsamen Musizieren zu erleichtern, richtete Franck-Thomas Link Kompositionen von Schubert, Schumann, Schostakowitsch und Tschaikowsky für 2 Klaviere so ein, dass sie sehr leicht zu erlernen sind und die Aufmerksamkeit schnell auf die musikalische Gestaltung gerichtet werden kann. For individual and group lessons The second volume of the Piano method 2000 grows with the child's psyche. It takes up every chapter of volume 1 and adapts it to the age of the child. The range increases to one octave in each hand. Polyphonic playing is built up slowly and carefully from the bordun; in the ‘composing corner’ the player invents accompaniments using the material introduced in the practice pieces. Partner songs with an adaptable level of difficulty as well as pieces for 3 to 6 hands help to motivate the player. The inner ear is practised in the ‘finger acrobatics’, which are short, clever etudes taught aurally by the teacher, as well as mastering two-part harmony in canon playing. On the ‘workshop pages’, theory is introduced in a convincing way, from a simple definition to playing with musical parameters and sight-reading. A text attachment on the technical structure provides the teacher with important information.
