Telemann bringt in seinen "36 Fantaisies" je ein Dutzend "Fantasien" in deutscher, französischer und italienischer Manier. Die lose Folge durch einige Tonarten wurde von Christa Sokoll methodisch ausgebaut und führt bei progressiver Reihung und Aufteilung in vier Bände systematisch durch den Quintenzirkel.

Die Suite oder Partita BWV 997 ist unbestritten ein Werk Johann Sebastian Bachs. Die hier vorgelegte Fassung wird zum ersten Mal für Blockflöte und Basso continuo (Cembalo und Violoncello) vorgelegt, wobei die Partie des Cembalo besonders in der Fuge anspruchsvoll ist.

Scandinavia - A journey through the Nordic countries This time, Fridolin and Katrin travel through Norway with its fjords and skerries, roam through the forests of Sweden, discover the vast lake landscapes of Finland, marvel at the fantastic play of colours of the Northern Lights and indulge themselves in comparatively small Denmark. The often rugged landscapes of Scandinavia, nature and the sea leave indelible impressions. We encounter graceful folk songs, heartfelt melodies, but also lively dances full of joie de vivre. Hook's role model, Johann Christian Bach, had a long-lasting effect on the English composer's work. He shares with him a strong melodic talent with an emphasised sense of form.

Johann Friedrich Fasch (1688-1758), a pupil of Johann Kuhnau, Thomaskantor in Leipzig, and (later, after initial success as an opera composer) of Christoph Graupner, court conductor in Darmstadt, moved to Zerbst in 1722 to take up the post of court conductor, where he remained until the end of his life. Numerous church cantatas, several masses, but above all the impressive number of his highly remarkable instrumental compositions (orchestral suites, symphonies, concertos, quartets and trios) prove Fasch to be one of the truly significant and progressive composers of his time. Johann Sebastian Bach's high regard for the instrumental composer Fasch is documented on several occasions.
