Julian Schlitzer enriches the ukulele repertoire with virtuoso ‘Folia Variations’, which combine baroque tradition and modern playing techniques. The folia, originally a wild dance from Portugal, has become an integral part of music history over the centuries. Schlitzer makes full use of the tonal possibilities of re-entrant tuning - from strumming and tremolo to tapping.

This edition is part of the ‘Elisabeth Pfeiffer presents Ukulele’ series published by Heinrichshofen Verlag, which establishes the ukulele as a versatile solo instrument.
