The number of ukulele fans is constantly growing. One of the best-known representatives is Elisabeth Pfeiffer, who has made the ukulele a major focus of her musical and educational activities since 2013. With the Elisabeth Pfeiffer presents Ukulele series, Heinrichshofen publishing house supports her in presenting the ukulele as a fully-fledged instrument with which traditional music can be experienced and new musical territory can be explored. The compositions and arrangements in the series expand the repertoire for ukulele, utilizing and extending the instrument's diverse possibilities.
The first edition of the series focuses on the theme of “Space”. Two of Elisabeth Pfeiffer's own compositions are presented alongside an arrangement of David Bowie's Space Oddity.
