Like series A ‘The Music of the Old Masters’, series B ‘Folklore / Folk Music’ for soprano recorders also consists of four volumes that build on each other. They progress from very easy to moderately difficult. There is extensive material available for teachers and students for ensemble playing at every level of teaching to gradually expand technical skills. These one hundred of the best-known Christmas carols from different countries offer the opportunity to play melody and accompaniment with the keyboard on the one hand, and on the other hand the simple two-part setting of 1-2 melody instruments with additional keyboard accompaniment can be realised.
