Anja Elsholz

Anja Elsholz (*1967) is an experienced violin and viola teacher and the successful author of numerous textbooks for violin and viola lessons. She received her first violin lessons as a child before continuing her musical education at the renowned Dr Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt. She then went on to study violin at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, where she began teaching at the same time.
Anja Elsholz developed her own teaching method early on, which found expression in the popular violin school ‘Susi and Eddi’. Numerous other publications followed over the years, including teaching books for viola, music literature and children's musicals.
 
Anja Elsholz has taught at various music schools in the Rhine-Main region as well as privately. She has been a violin and viola teacher at the Bad Vilbel and Karben music schools for more than 20 years, where she trains and encourages young musicians with passion and great commitment.

In addition to her work as an author and teacher, she is also active in various freelance orchestras and ensembles, both symphonic and chamber music. With her practical didactics, her musical versatility and her wealth of pedagogical experience, she has characterised string instrument teaching for many decades. Anja Elsholz is an inspiring musician and a highly respected instrumental teacher in professional circles.
