Beflügelt is a progressive collection of piano music with short, easy to moderately difficult, very well-known or less well-known songs and piano works. The Advent and Christmas season is a welcome opportunity, especially for those returning to the piano, to simply open up the piano or grand piano to begin a long-cherished endeavour and to reawaken and rediscover dormant pianistic skills and abilities.
Gloria in Excelsis Deo is designed to be progressive. This means that all the Christmas carols in this collection can be creatively integrated into everyday piano playing. The selection of songs is stylistically varied, with internationally known Christmas carols finding their special echo in this collection. When selecting the keys, care was taken to find a compromise between a pleasant singability and a melody part that can be played spontaneously on C instruments.
