Variations on ‘Let us cradle the little child’
Recorder quartet (SATB)
Franz Xaver Murschhauser (1663–1738) was a South German composer and music theorist of the Baroque period. He worked primarily as an organist and conductor at the Frauenkirche in Munich. His 6 Variations for Recorder Quartet, which are suitable for ensembles, teaching and concerts, are also in this tradition.

Organ Works
Organ
César Franck's works have been enjoying growing popularity for several years and are increasingly finding their way into organ concert programmes. The works were probably composed before 1860, but bear Franck's unmistakable compositional signature.

Old English Organ Music
Günter Kaluza
Old English Organ Music
Organ
As an essential part of English music-making, organ music developed completely independently of the continent until the middle of the 19th century. Until then, even large English organs had no independent pedal division or only an attached pedal. Accordingly, the present collection consists only of manualiter pieces and predominantly of the typical two- to four-movement voluntaries. In keeping with English tradition, these works can be played on the organ as well as on the harpsichord. The pieces are also available individually as pdf files. Simply click on the drop-down menu under ‘Issue (please select)’.

Leopold Mozart
The sleigh ride - part Violin 1
Violin 1
You can hear sleigh bells and the crack of whips. The piece tells the musical story of a cosy night-time sleigh ride in a snowy landscape to a ball. The work for string ensemble (violins I-III, viola, violoncello, bass) and children's instruments (trumpet in C, drum, 2 bells, triangle, ratchet and whip) , composed by Leopold Mozart, the father of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, is still popular today. The parts are also available separately.
