nach der Sonate für Klavier A-Dur KV 331 Mozarts Klaviersonate KV 331 mit dem berühmten Rondo "alla turca", heute in unzählichen Pop-Versionen vermarktet, war schon um 1800 so beliebt, dass sie vielfach bearbeitet wurde. z. B. für Gitarre und Flöte, als Klaviertrio oder gar für Harmoniemusik. Unter diesen Fassungen ragt die Einrichtung von Franz Anton Hoffmeister (1754-1812) heraus, weil hier ein erfahrener Komponist, der überdies Mozart als Freund und Verleger eng verbunden war, den meist zweistimmigen Klaviersatz zu einem veritablen Quartett erweitert hat, ohne am Original Wesentliches zu verändern.

Dem Klangbild liegt eine Denkweise zugrunde, die davon ausgeht, dass ein hörbarer musikalischer Zusammenhang auch ein logischer ist, sich also in einer entsprechenden Kompositionstechnik widerspiegelt. Klangvorstellungen werden durch musikalisch-technische Mittel aufgefangen und dann so abgebildet, dasss kompositorische und klangliche Bezüge hörbar werden.

Erstausgabe Briccialdi, im 19. Jahrhundert als "Paganini der Flöte" berühmt, verwandelte die schlichte Gesangslinie der Originalkomposition, die für Singstimme ohne Text und Gitarre konzipiert war, auf virtuose Weise im Geiste Paganinis zugunsten der Querflöte.

"Seckingers Kompositionen verraten ein fundiertes handwerkliches Können, Einfallsreichtum und stilistische Eigenständigkeit". Mit diesen Worten charakterisiert Monika Decker das Schaffen des Musikers in der wissenschaftlichen Abhandlung "Konrad Seckinger - ein zeitgenössischer Komponist".

The delicate "Vocalise," just 23 measures long, was written for a student. As a counterpart follows the rhythmically influenced "Dance", which is connected to the Vocalise by identical tonal material with a clearly pentatonic character. The monothematic, but richly varied arrangement of the entire composition is wonderfully suited as playing literature for (young) instrumentalists of the lower and intermediate levels. This version for solo instrument and piano offers various possibilities for instrumentation, since the part is included in high and low register and can be played, for example, by the violin first in 12th register and later repeated in high register if the violinist's skills have advanced. Likewise, it is possible to change to the higher octave on the flute or oboe or from the soprano to the alto recorder.
