Das Concerto "Le Phénix" ist original für vier Violoncelli, Fagotte oder Violen da gamba komponiert. Um es für Blockflöten spielbar zu machen, wurde es von D-Dur nach B-dur transponiert. Eine Ausführung für nur drei Instrumente ist möglich, da laut einem Vermerk im Originaldruck die dritte Stimme entfallen kann.

Diese Suite (Originaltitel: Ouvertüre Burlesque de Quichotte) ist eine von 119 erhaltenen Orchestersuiten Telemanns. Wie der Titel schon sagt, ist sie "scherzhaft" gemeint. Es ist ein derb-spaßhaftes Musikstück. Beim Musizieren darf (oder soll) ruhig in diesem Sinne übertrieben werden. Spieler und Zuhörer haben dann sicher ihren Spaß daran. Inhalt: 1. Ouverture 2.
