Die vorliegenden Duette sind Bearbeitungen von Klavierstücken Handels. Für das Spiel auf Altblockflöten wurden die Stücke in günstige Tonarten transponiert und beide Stimmen dichter zusammen gelegt. Es entstanden Stimmkreuzungen, wie sie auch in originalen Duetten auftreten.
