André Herteux worked with the now internationally successful ukulele artist Elisabeth Pfeiffer back when he was a student. This contact inspired him to write music for ukulele.
Herteux is known for using his compositions to showcase the tonal characteristics and possibilities of the respective instruments, creating unique sound spaces and harmonic clouds.
With these three pieces, Herteux takes players and listeners to enchanted places and gives the ukulele new, original pieces of its very own.
