There is often no common thread in a school concert, one piece is strung from one to the next in a meaningless way. Ute Bihler does things differently: she incorporates all of her piano students' pieces into a story that turns the student concert into an exciting and entertaining experience for young pianists and their listeners.
In 17 short chapters, Underwater adventure tells the story of how Felix and Sonja attend a diving course during their summer holiday and experience exciting adventures. The piano pieces in the album are offered in different levels of difficulty. There are works for two and four hands, some with optional teacher accompaniment. This means that the book can be used for individual lessons or by several pupils who can then play a concert together.
A list of alternative pieces from the classical piano repertoire offers the opportunity to incorporate other pieces into the story so that current lesson content can be easily integrated into the story.
