From practice for practice: ‘dumb it down’ is a series of simplified piano accompaniments to standard works for various instruments, which also offer piano players without a degree the opportunity to accompany their pupils, children, friends, etc.

The Concerto in F major for violin, harpsichord and strings (Hob. VII:1) is one of the earliest concertante works by Joseph Haydn - and is also a musical curiosity. The rare combination of two equal solo instruments makes the work an exciting dialogue between two worlds of sound. Haydn unfolds baroque elegance and classical clarity here.

This edition is scored in B flat major for trumpet (Bb) and piano.
