Werner Heider wrote his 5th string quartet in 2021. In classical string quartet instrumentation, it comprises three movements whose titles are the programme: 1st ‘Silenzio con anima’, 2nd ‘Rhythms’ and 3rd ‘Two fifths plus chorale’. The string quartet has a duration of 12 minutes and is aimed at experienced string players.

Werner Heider completed ‘One Chapter' for four string instruments (violin, viola, violoncello and double bass) in June 2018. The 8.5-minute work was premiered in Nuremberg in May 2019.

Ein Schatz der Musikgeschichte wird gehoben: Claus Woschenko entdeckte die Musik des spätromantischen Musikers und Schriftstellers Hermann von Meysenbug (1848-1915) und bringt sie in dieser Ausgabe quellengetreu zur ersten Veröffentlichung. Dass diese Musik bisher nicht entdeckt wurde, ist erstaunlich, denn sie ist farbenreich, fantasievoll und äußert kurzweilig. Meysenbug wählt acht Bilder des Grimm'schen Märchens "Schneewittchen", die er musikalisch in Szene setzt. Sie eignen sich zur konzertanten Aufführung am Stück, lassen sich aber ebenso einzeln verwenden. Durch den leichten bis mittelschweren Schwierigkeitsgrad bietet diese Musik auch Material für den Unterricht und ein erstes konzertantes Zusammenspiel.
