Scott Joplin's ‘The Entertainer’ and ‘The Ragtime Dance’ appear here in full length; a piccolo trumpet can be added to the ‘Entertainer’ and the ‘Ragtime Dance’ includes the players' foot stomping in the final section. ‘Little Annie's Swing Rag’ by Uwe Heger offers the unusual possibility of playing a ragtime in swing style and using mutes.
