Für die vorliegende Auswahl aus Christian Egenolfs Sammelband von 1535 wurde die Faksimileausgabe der Stimmbücher benutzt, die Hans Joachim Moser 1927 als Festgabe zur vierten deutschen Musikfachausstellung zu Frankfurt am Main veröffentlicht hat. Die übrigen Stimmen weisen keinen Text auf. Man darf also annehmen, dass in dieser frühen Ausgabe in erster Linie an eine instrumentale Ausführung der Liedsätze gedacht war. Zur Wiedergabe eignen sich Bläser- und Streicherchöre gleich gut. Die Stimmen sind einzeln erhältlich zum Preis von je 5,00 €.
