Advent, Advent ... a little light is burning

The collection includes traditional and well-known Advent and Christmas carols such as ‘Auf, auf! Die rechte Zeit ist hier’ (Arise, arise! The right time is here), ‘Leise rieselt der Schnee’ (Silently falls the snow), ‘Es flog ein Täublein weiße’ (A little white dove flew), ‘Macht hoch die Tür’ (Lift up the door), ‘Maria durch ein Dornwald ging’ (Mary walked through a thorn forest) and many more. The pieces are classified as very easy to easy and are therefore particularly suitable for children and beginners. They are arranged for two soprano recorders and one alto recorder.

The sheet music edition was developed for playing together in groups and ensembles, especially for use during Advent and Christmas in schools, music schools or at home. The songs are easy to play and offer an uncomplicated introduction to recorder playing with well-known melodies from the Advent season.
