Schon J. S. Bach gefiel Vivaldis Concerto für 4 Violinen, 2 Violen und Basso continuo so gut, dass er es für 4 Cembali, Streicher und Basso continuo (BWV 1065) einrichtete. Beide Versionen nutzte Veilhan und übertrug den Altblockflöten die Rollen der Solisten und der Begleiter.
