Die vorliegenden zwei Musikstücke "Córdoba" und "Mallorca" von Isaac Albéniz sind im Original für Klavier geschrieben. Sie sind ein gutes Beispiel dafür, dass Albéniz in vielen seiner Kompositionen für Klavier die Gitarre als "instrumentales Modell" sah. Man kann durchaus sagen, dass mit dieser Bearbeitung den Stücken erst ihr eigentlicher Klangcharakter verliehen wurde.
