‘Moods and Grooves’ is a collection of 13 easy to moderately difficult character pieces for guitar. The pieces offer a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from modern romanticism to world music, as well as playing techniques that produce a rich variety of sounds: two-part melodic playing with open strings, chord playing with fingerpicking or strumming, and even percussive drum rhythms are featured. Everything is explained in advance, making the pieces suitable for both lessons and self-study.
