The guitar school contains almost a hundred songs and pieces that introduce children - from around the age of 7 - to playing the guitar. The guitar school was primarily designed for group lessons, but it can be used just as well in individual lessons. Melody playing, accompaniment with bass notes, two-part solo playing and, of course, song accompaniment using chord symbols are taught in small learning steps. Children's songs, joke songs, folklore from Germany and all over the world replace monotonous exercises. Hans Joachim Teschner has taken care to ensure that once the school has been learnt, it is possible to immediately move on to the extensive playing literature. Most of the songs and pieces can be listened to: simply scan the QR code on the respective piece and you're ready to go.
