The 26 pieces make a little story. They are not arranged in order of difficulty. Although largely based on simple melodies, the tonal language does not shy away from dissonance. Technically, many pieces have a simple pattern that is repeated and developed to serve as a study. Pedal has been inserted only in a few places - of course, it can still be used in other places. Fingerings have been deliberately omitted.
Although written for children, these are not just "children's pieces". They also appeal to adults who still carry their children's world within them.
