Der Band "Jazz" enthält insgesamt sechs Stücke in charakteristischen Jazzstilistiken mit den dafür typischen Tempi. Besonderer Wert wurde neben umfangreich auskomponierten Soli auch auf Abwechslung innerhalb des Heftes gelegt. Das Spektrum reicht vom Ragtime über Jazz Ballad, Gospel, Slow Jazzwaltz und Medium Swing bis hin zum Blues im Shuffle-Rhythmus. Zur Registrierung enthalten die Arrangements zahlreiche Soundvorschläge. Diese können natürlich, ebenso wie die Tempoangaben, dem persönlichen Empfinden angepasst werden.
