Die Programmmusik "Feuertanz" ist der erste Teil einer Gesamtkomposition, die sich mit den Elementen Feuer, Wasser, Luft und Erde auseinandersetzt und Assoziationen und Bilder zum Thema "Feuer" musikalisch umsetzt. Ursprünglich als Uni-Abschlussarbeit bei Prof. Violetta Dinescu konzipiert, gewann das Werk beim Komponistenwettbewerb des US-Song-Awards den Unisong-Award 2003 in der Kategorie "Bestes Instrumentalstück". Profi- und Laienorchester können mit diesem Werk ihr Publikum in ihren Bann ziehen und begeistern.
